In my overpowering and domineering experience with nature I confront the strong belief in art as a means to the discovery and illumination of the real with the engaging ‘matters of perception and apperception, and of thought and feeling.’
In my work I feel invited not only to look at the world around but to think how I look at it and what I see when I look at it. There is an artist in me and I challenge myself to keep him present and active in transforming the sense of nature through myself for others, for in my work not only I see, but I also help others to see. I hope that my work will help people to acknowledge and confront the reality of life through their own experiences and memories.
